• Toronto's smallest house, built in 1912, has a living area of just 300 sq ft. The city had approved a laneway for the property but never got around to cutting the cur. The owner decided to use the existing space and put up a home.
   
• Hawaii's Mount Waialeale is the wettest place in the world - it rains throughout the year and about 460 inches per annum.
   
• The largest school in the world is City Montessori School in India and has over 25,000 students in grade levels ranging from kindergarten to college.

• The name “leopard” comes from the Greek words for lion (leo) and panther (pardos).
